Abstract

|
The authours report 13 primary malignant lymphomas of the gastrointestinal tract in the Department of General Surgery, Woo Suk University Hospital during five years from 1962 through June, 1967.
Nine cases were reticulum cell sarcomas and 4 cases were lymphocytic lymphosarcomas in histopathological study. Most of them, metastatic invasion and spreads to surrounding lymphnodes or organs were noted.
Six cases including one without metastatic changes to the lymphnodes or organs in gross, were treated with radiation therapy following surgical removal of the tumors and 3 patients had good results.
